Chocolate Fondants

My husband is crazy about chocolate fondants. When I first baked it I was surprised how easy was the process. Since then chocolate fondants became my family’s favorite dessert. You can make it anytime for any occasion.

Let start

You only need a chocolate, egg, sugar, flour and good mood

For this recipe, I always use chocolate bars, I don’t know why 🙂 In Georgia, I had my favorite chocolate bar but here I had to choose something different.

What I used was a 75% dark chocolate and it was a little bit intensive if you use it you can add milk chocolate too or just use less than 75% intensity chocolate. GODIVA  has a lot of different taste and different intensity chocolates and from today I recommend you Godiva for chocolate fondants.

Ingredients:

160g dark chocolate, 100g butter, 4 egg, 40g sugar, 60g flour.

Directions:

1) First,  you need to melt chocolate and butter. Place the bowl over a saucepan of hot water and be careful that the bowl is not touching the water. When the chocolate and butter have melted and combined, remove bowl from the heat and stir until smooth. Leave to cool for about 10 minutes.

2) While a chocolate mix is getting cool, whisk the eggs and yolks together with the sugar until thick.

3) Now it’s time for chocolate. Mix melted chocolate with the eggs and beat well until all the mixture is completely mixed. Then sift the flour and mix it gently with the spatula.

4) With your pastry bag fill the silicon baking cups with batter. You can use any type of forms. Silicon cups do not need additional fat, you can directly fill it with batter. In the case of another form brush the inside with the melted butter, then put the cocoa in one and turn it to coat the inside. (cocoa, not flour because flour will give it white color).

Bake them in preheated oven (360 F) for 7-8 minutes.

Remove from the oven immediately and leave to rest for 30 seconds.

Turn out each fondant onto the serving plate and add some vanilla ice cream ball or whipping cream. (if you used ceramic forms, then you can serve fondants with it.)
